In the year 2070, following global nuclear fallout, the nations united to survive, forming a New World Order. Fear divided the rich from the poor, and the less fortunate were confined to The Jungle.Far beyond lies a metropolis untouched by war: Eden, a paradise for the elite.To enforce order, agents were established and augmented with powerful weapons to serve the NWO… until one defected. Escaping Eden, he now wanders the Outskirts, searching for haven.

Within The Jungle, a group of ambitious teens discover The VR-Cade, created by a mysterious figure known only as Arcade Master. They play NVRLND, a metaverse where rich and poor compete for wealth, and a chance to reach Eden. A club is formed to ensure their advancement, ultimately aiming to ascend to Eden.
